"With its eastern facing coastline Maine is the first state to see the sun every morning, and the quiet and peaceful mornings are a sight to behold when beautiful shades of pinks, reds, and oranges fill the morning sky! This is perhaps best viewed during autumn, when the trees bring forth their seasonal color and wonderfully correspond with the colorful shows in the air. However on this particular morning in Camden Harbor, I was awestruck by the beautiful golden light the the rising sun was casting in the opposite direction upon Mount Battie and the inner harbor. It was incredibly beautiful how the red and orange leaves covering the landscape had become so vibrant in this light, and I knew I had to capture an image of this wonderful scene!" - Dominic Trapani
